“It worked, it really worked!”
We went into this class not knowing what to expect. It was my first time teaching entrepreneurship and I wasn’t going to pass up an opportunity for some hands on learning!! A few weeks back before we started UpliftingTshirts.ca I filmed this #InTheLab episode asking the question, how do you teach entrepreneurship? At that time I had no idea what would happen with our newly founded company disguised as an experiment disguised as a class.
Next Thursday at the Artful Dodger, along with David Tapp, Riley Lawsen, Tori Dundas, Brandon Wu and myself are hosting PechaKucha! I know what you’re thinking. How the hell do you pronounce that? Well it’s Pea-Cha-Ka-Cha, so fun to say!
PechaKucha is ten presentations, all of which are 20 slides and 20 seconds per slide. It’ll be an wildly interesting night, the assortment of speakers is all over the map so you will be entertained. If you wish to see who’s speaking check out the list here. Also, I will be MCing the night, so prepare yourself for some of the best PechaKucha commentary ever!
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased here: Buy PechaKucha Regina Tickets.
1. We support local in Regina. As a rule we (Regina folk) like to support local businesses and organizations in Regina. If you disagree you can go pound salt. It’s always more fulfilling to dine at a local restaurant (Rock Creek, Freehouse, Enso) or local clothing store (Coda Clothing & Shoes, Venice Tailors, Colin O’Brien’s), so why not also support your local sports teams?
