Their mission, “Goodness Through Gaming,” envisions a community where the power of play can uplift and improve food security. PwYF is built on strong values, including kindness, inclusivity, and charity, emphasizing the importance of people and their well-being. Founded in 2013 in honor of Evelyn (Eva) Robertson, a passionate advocate for feeding the world, PwYF has seamlessly woven together the local board game community and the fight against food insecurity. It’s a legacy that embodies the transformative potential of play and the board game community’s generosity, compassion, and empathy in making a positive impact on their community.
