The North Peace Applied Research Association (NPARA) is a dedicated non-profit organization with a rich history dating back to 1988. As a producer-driven entity, NPARA is steadfast in its commitment to serving farmers in the County of Northern Lights and the M.D of Peace #135. Their unwavering mission is to address the unique challenges posed by the region’s distinct climatic, geographic, and soil conditions. NPARA achieves this by conducting applied research projects carefully selected by their Board of Directors. Their overarching goal is to provide the agricultural community with valuable research and extension services, fostering a robust and sustainable agriculture industry.
