Modern Megaw Montessori
I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the newest Montessori preschool teacher at Modern Megaw Montessori in south Regina. My lifelong passion for working with children has driven me to pursue a career in child education, with over a decade of professional experience in various educational and community settings. My journey started as an educational assistant with Regina Public School, where I dedicated myself to meeting the diverse educational needs of students. Later, I became a respite provider, focusing on nurturing children’s individuality and fostering their social, emotional, and behavioral development. For the past four years, I’ve operated a day home, caring for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. My academic background includes studies in Women and Gendered Studies at the University of Regina, complemented by a Montessori Diploma and Early Childhood Education Certificate. Rest assured, the Montessori model will be at the heart of Modern Megaw Montessori, with the added benefit of guidance from Cindy Megaw, the original founder. Beyond my professional life, I cherish spending time with my son, Jack, enjoying bike rides, park adventures, and special treats. I can’t wait to embark on this holistic learning journey with your family and help your child thrive.
