Wood Buffalo Therapy
Wood Buffalo Therapy is the culmination of a 15-year journey in the field of psychology by a dedicated Registered Psychologist in Alberta. With a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges, this therapist’s diverse experience includes working in residential youth and adolescent treatment, the justice system, community counseling programs, and private practice. The journey began at the University of New Brunswick, where a love for psychology and a desire to connect with people’s stories and struggles emerged. Graduate studies led to a Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy at Loma Linda University, fostering expertise in human systems, relational dynamics, and emotional experiences. Today, Wood Buffalo Therapy continues to thrive, grounded in the principles of acceptance, curiosity, and empathy, while also nurturing the next generation of therapists through mentoring and supervision, making a profound impact on both clients and aspiring psychologists.
