“Tim Raue was one of the people to make Berlin the most exciting food city in Germany.”
I love the Netflix Series Chef’s Table. An inspiring take on creatives in the kitchen. This episode was of Tim Raue, a German chef who pushes the boundaries of what a high-end chef can do. When someone asks for a menu item he takes it off the menu. He doesn’t want to be known for what he’s done but for what he’s going to do.
Some people have been adapting daily for years. Tim’s one of them. We can all learn from that strategy.
What an idea. Could you change up what you create right after a customer tells you they love it and requests it again? It’s the ultimate in confidence, throwing away what you know to be good to create something that may be better.
No matter what you do you can always make it a little better next time. If people are requesting something you offer tell them you can’t do it anymore, change the game, give them something else.
